About Plaistow-Kingston Animal Medical Center
Learn a little more about Plaistow-Kingston Animal Medical Center’s history below.
Our History
The Plaistow-Kingston Animal Medical Center was founded by Dr. Dean Wallace in 1976 as the Plaistow Animal Medical Center on Old Danville Rd. (now Garden Rd.) in Plaistow, New Hampshire. The practice thrived and grew for over thirty years in its original location. In 2006, the remodeling process began on our current facility, the former Bayberry Business Park on Rt. 125 in Kingston, New Hampshire. Construction proved to be a long but ultimately very worthwhile process, as it would effectively quadruple the hospital’s floor space, providing room for more employees, equipment upgrades, and an ambitious expansion of services.
In 2009, the practice moved to its current location in Kingston, and the name changed to the Plaistow-Kingston Animal Medical Center. Since the move, the practice has added in-house digital radiology and ultrasound services while also seeing significant diagnostic laboratory and surgical equipment upgrades.
As a modern, full-service veterinary hospital, our dedicated veterinary and support staff strive to provide our patients and their owners with informed, compassionate care and support. We are here to serve the beloved pets of this community as we serve our own at home, and we look forward to serving yours.
